I saw this post in my feed and danced a raucous jig (in my head). Then you brought me to tears, made me incredibly thirsty, had me shaking my head in wonder, and planted the idea that we should plan a trip to Greece. I tell you, lady, you are brilliant, and you have been sorely missed by both me and my laptop. xo

p.s. I can totally see Jaime already knowing that awesome story, down to what kind of shoes Persephone was wearing while doing the trampling, don’t you think?

I know exactly what you’re going through. It happened to me in Apr. Sudden unplanned trip to Chicago and too many unanswered questions. The man’s love of Jack and Coke means I am unlikely to be reminded of him too often when drinking, but like another mythological character, Orpheus, I’d go down to get him if I could.

Connor made a drink called the Persephone a few weeks ago. Basically a mint julep with Irish whiskey and pomegranate juice. Interesting to see your version come up here.
